I wanted to make a Papers, Please ripoff, but did not give myself enough time to work on any code.

So instead, I present to you, the materials *needed* to make the game. I think for the Create-a-Thon, this is most appropriate, considering it doesn't *have* to be a game.

Later on, I could make Gactown Customs a reality - it'll look a bit different from Papers Please, obviously, but revolve around the same overall themes.

Papers, Please, but with my own custom storyline.

Basically, I take place in a future where humans have managed to reduce the human genome to a fraction of what it used to be, called codon compression, which boosts cell regeneration and allows cells to spend significantly less energy during reproduction.

However, this has also enabled big corporations to control their citizens by controlling the genomes they’re effectively born with.

The corporations' genomes

• Reduce the chromosomal count from 46 to 10-12.
• Sterilize humans while allowing them to remain virile.
• Leave out the immune system, instead having it replaced by Nano machines.
• Make humans school-smart, healthy, and long-living.
• Make humans exceptionally attractive.

The breakthrough is having a rapid impact on society. The tiny new population of individuals born with the aforementioned genome providers have a straight intellectual and longevity advantage over the Darwins (normal people like us with 46 chromosomes)

In the future, there exists a planned community called Gactown, in NS, Canada.

Only citizens who have proven to have a compressed genome can enter. Companies are beginning to hire only from places like Gactown; All of the leading ivy-league colleges, businesses, and modern-day amenities are being built in places like Gactown.

The future is eugenics.
